Three questions from the 762-question CDL bank, with their explanations, so you can judge the quality before paying.
The aggregate working load limit of your tiedowns must be at least:
✓ 50% of the weight of the cargo being secured
The combined working load limit of all the tiedowns must equal at least half the weight of the cargo. Working load limit is a rated figure stamped on the device — not the breaking strength, and not a guess.
When you back a trailer and it starts to drift the wrong way, you should:
✓ Pull forward to straighten the vehicle and start again
Pull up, straighten out and restart. Trying to fix a developing jackknife by adding steering input while still reversing usually tightens the angle until the trailer contacts the cab.
Driving in rain, the greatest risk in the first few minutes is:
✓ Oil and dust lifting to the surface, making the road slickest before the rain washes it clean
The start of a shower after dry weather floats accumulated oil into a film. It gets better as rain continues washing it away — so the most dangerous stretch is the beginning, not the downpour.

All eight CDL tests are free and cover the same material. The paid tier is for people who want to walk in certain rather than hopeful.
General Knowledge
Required for every CDL applicant, whatever class or endorsement you're after. The longest and most-weighted test in the battery.
2Air Brakes
Required if the vehicle you'll drive has air brakes. Score under 80% and an air-brake restriction goes on your license.
3Combination Vehicles
Required for Class A. Coupling, uncoupling, trailer brakes and rollover prevention.
4Hazardous Materials (H)
Placarding, shipping papers, loading rules and emergency response for hazardous loads.
Common questions
What does the $29 actually unlock?
Everything on the site, in both verticals: the full CDL simulated exam and the CDL missed-question drill, plus the car-permit simulated exam and drill for all 10 states. One purchase, no subscription, nothing to cancel.
How is this different from the free CDL tests?
The free tests draw a set that rotates once a day — every visitor gets the same questions until midnight. This draws a fresh exam on demand from all 363 General Knowledge questions, so you can sit three genuinely different exams in one evening.
Does it cover my endorsements?
The missed-question drill pulls from every CDL bank at once — General Knowledge, air brakes, combination vehicles, hazmat, tank, passenger, school bus and doubles/triples. 762 questions in total.
Are these the real CDL test questions?
No, and the regulation is the reason. The federal question pool is not public, states develop their own wording from it, and versions rotate. Anyone advertising the actual exam questions is describing something that does not exist.
