A study aid for the written permit test, built because the existing options are either thin or overpriced.

Where the questions come from

Every question here is original, written from the driver handbook published by the state's own licensing agency. Those handbooks are public documents, and they are what the real exam is drawn from.

We do not have real exam questions, and neither does anyone else selling them legitimately. State exam banks are confidential. If a site claims to show you "the exact questions on the test," treat that as a reason not to trust the rest of what they say.

What we don't claim

We don't publish a pass rate. Sites in this category advertise figures like "99.2% of our users pass" with nothing behind them, and we're not going to invent one to compete. What we'll say is narrower and true: people who work through the material and re-drill what they miss do better than people who read the handbook once.

What's free

All nine section practice tests, in every state we cover, with every answer explained. No account, no email, no trial. The paid tier adds a full-length simulated exam, a missed-question drill and a condensed study guide.

Corrections

Traffic law changes and handbooks get revised. If you find something here that contradicts your state's current handbook, tell us and we'll fix it — the handbook wins, always.
