Where the questions come from

Every question here is original, written from the driver handbook published by the state's own licensing agency. Those handbooks are public documents, and they are what the real exam is drawn from.

We do not have real exam questions, and neither does anyone else selling them legitimately. State exam banks are confidential. If a site claims to show you "the exact questions on the test," treat that as a reason not to trust the rest of what they say.

Why the questions are worded the way they are

Every question here is written by us from the official handbooks. That matters for a reason beyond originality: it means we can ask the same rule more than one way.

The failure mode of most practice tests is that you learn the sentence rather than the rule. You see one phrasing often enough that the right answer looks familiar, then the real exam words it differently and the familiarity evaporates. So the paid tests re-ask rules as scenarios, or inverted, or with the terms changed — same rule, same explanation, different words. Answer positions are shuffled too, because "it's the second one" is not knowledge.

It also means our questions are not the set that circulates unchanged across dozens of practice sites. We can't promise you'll never see something similar elsewhere; we can tell you nobody handed us a bank and we didn't copy one.

What we don't claim

We don't publish a pass rate. Sites in this category advertise figures like "99.2% of our users pass" with nothing behind them, and we're not going to invent one to compete. What we'll say is narrower and true: people who work through the material and re-drill what they miss do better than people who read the handbook once.

Corrections

Traffic law changes and handbooks get revised. If you find something here that contradicts your state's current handbook, tell us and we'll fix it — the handbook wins, always.
