What we collect

Nothing, to take a free practice test. No account, no email address, no signup. Your answers and progress are stored in your own browser's local storage and never leave your device unless you have a license key.

If you purchase, our payment processor collects your email and payment details in order to charge you and send a receipt. We receive your email address and a record that a purchase occurred. We never see or store your card number.

If you enter a license key, we store your study progress on our servers against that key so it syncs between your devices. It is not linked to your name.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to count page views and understand which study sections people use. This sets cookies and collects an approximate location and device type. It does not identify you personally.

Advertising and cookies

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You may also opt out of third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info.

Where required, we ask for consent before setting non-essential cookies.

Children

Many permit applicants are under 18. We deliberately require no account and collect no personal information to use the free tests, so a minor can study here without giving us anything. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Your choices

Clearing your browser data erases your local progress. To have server-side progress tied to a license key deleted, contact us and we'll remove it.
