You're leaving a driveway or alley and entering the road. You must:

Most states' 'Move Over' laws require you to:

When you pass a stopped emergency, tow, or utility vehicle with flashing lights, move over one lane if you safely can — and if you can't, slow down substantially. These laws exist because roadside workers are struck and killed regularly. All 50 states have some version.
