Question 1

What this section covers

This test maps to the Parking section of the Ohio driver handbook. Hill parking and prohibited distances are pure memorization, and they show up reliably. The hill rule has one logic: turn the wheels so a runaway car ends up off the road rather than in traffic.

The Ohio knowledge test is 40 questions, and you need 30 correct to pass.

Common questions

How many questions about parking & stopping are on the real test?

Ohio BMV doesn't publish a per-section breakdown, and it varies between exam forms. What's consistent is that signs and right-of-way carry the most weight on every state's exam — so if you're short on time, those are the two sections to over-prepare.

Do I have to get these exactly right on the real exam?

The exam samples from the whole handbook, so no single section decides it — but you can't offset a weak section forever. You may miss 10 questions in total on the Ohio exam.

Can I retake this practice test?

As many times as you like, free. Your progress saves automatically, so you can stop partway and come back to the same question later.
