Question 1

What this section covers

This test maps to the Alcohol and drugs section of the Georgia driver handbook. Expect questions on your state's exact limits, on implied consent, and on the fact that only time lowers blood alcohol. States weight this section heavily.

The Georgia knowledge exam is two separately scored sections: Road Rules (15 of 20) and Road Signs (15 of 20). You must pass both. Confirm with Georgia DDS before you go in.

Common questions

How many questions about alcohol, drugs & the law are on the real test?

Georgia DDS doesn't publish a per-section breakdown, and it varies between exam forms. What's consistent is that signs and right-of-way carry the most weight on every state's exam — so if you're short on time, those are the two sections to over-prepare.

Do I have to get these exactly right on the real exam?

The exam samples from the whole handbook, so no single section decides it — except in Georgia, where road rules and road signs are scored separately and you must pass each on its own.

Can I retake this practice test?

As many times as you like, free. Your progress saves automatically, so you can stop partway and come back to the same question later.
